If you use Comodo

Comodo products have a tendency to destroy any Windows installation I put it on (e.g.: CBUFS.sys)

Try Comodo System Cleaner. The registry part is extremely aggressive. It destroyed Windows Vista Catalog view many times when I tried to use it. Certainly not anything good. Although download.com reviews say Comodo System Cleaner is quite good. :)

Anyway, CIS is a very powerful software for free, but his ethics is bad indeed.

Yeah, registry cleaners are hard to tell of they help or not. That's the main issues with them.

CIS does do very well. However the antivirus isn't all that great, but the firewall is awesome. Now their ethics was the main reason I stopped using/recommending them. Comodo Firewall was the only one I found to be extremely good, but Online Armor comes pretty close.:)

Melih is a chump and always will

be!!

Call him whatever you want. No word is too good for him. Really don't care for him. Many bad things about him and his decisions. He really should make up his mind and decide which side he's on. The malware side or the security side. In between is unacceptable. That causes trust issues with the customers and wonder if their protected or not.

There is no joined side. You ether are or your not preventing malware. When your in between you're feeding the malware side with info/knowledge and are doing more harm then good. When all balances out, you're not gaining an advantage you're just doing nothing.

Button...the stripped down firewall is most excellent, I'll give Comodo

that much[and has nothing to do with Melih--dev team does all the work!!]

...the rest of the show just plain sucks

Exactly. The firewall is good, but without trust it doesn't matter.

oh yea I forgot I still got email certificates issued to me from them.......I'm still using them for now but not for much longer after I read that

I've had issues with support for those. Sometimes I forget to back them up and contact support. They ignore my requests to remove them and never hear from them. :)

On Comodo Firewall: I quit using it when I won a lifetime Outpost Pro Firewall license. I haven't been happier. I already had trust issues with Comodo since they were issuing security certificates to known malware sites. If they allow that, just imagine them recommending a malware application as "safe to trust" in their firewall.

Couposn

I agree with Tarun as Outpost either Free or Pro is excellent.
