I am continuing forward from another forum where I received assisted diagnosis for possible malware infection.

I am experiencing a distortion of my monitor when I try to visit and download various anti-malware programs or running my existing AM scans. For example, when starting a virus scan I can see the blue desktop background, and the AM title block, but the remaining portion is blocked either by a black or distorting grey overlay. In my previous post I was diagnosed clean and my MBAM, MSE, MDO currently show no infection. Could this event be caused by remnants of previously deleted or quarantined malware? What programs would you suggest I run to diagnose and fix this problem?

I would greatly appreciate any assistance, and your understanding of my "novice" abilities.
