hello there. i am new to the forum. i am getting a message to save after a scan. after the "No malicious objects detected" flag, i click ok and there is a message that asks me to either "save" "don't save",, is that part of the process? it wasn't there before. i've been a user of this program for at least 2yrs and haven't seen this before.. i find it odd. can someone tell me if this is ok?

:welcome:

Make sure the following check box under General Settings (Settings tab) is checked.

Edit: Note that the setting is for both the free and pro version.

You're welcome. :)

That's all up to you. I'm not really sure what the difference so a more knowledgeable person will have to respond to that.

Yes that's fine. :)

There are some threats where it should be terminated to allow removal of the threat.

For quarantine removal it's probably best to leave them there for a least a few days so that you're sure that it's not a false positive and give yourself time to restore the file if needed.
