I have used mbam_clean after standard un-installation of Malwarebytes. Checking to see if all traces of MBAM had been cleared I saw that LEGACY_MBAMPROTECT still sits in the Win7 registry.

Why hasn't mbam_clean removed it; should it be removed; how is that done?

Your advice, please
