Installed over previous version. No problems and quick scan time is the same at just over 4 minutes.

If it wasn't for Malwarebytes Antimalware I wouldn't have a stable PC no doubt about it. Since most AV's don't really catch Rogues (Fake AV)that run executable files that labels all exe files unusable and infect rather than do the correct command I'd stick with MBAM for life. 1.60.1400 works great as my quick scan took 3 mins and flash scan took about 40 sec for me @ least lol.

Certainly :). When saving your file with notepad, use the dropdown menu next to Encoding and choose Unicode, that's the same as UTF-16. If that does not work properly, then try Unicode big endian.

Greetings :)

We can't make any major changes like that now, but I will certainly take them into consideration for a future release.

Thanks :)

No errors upon installing and overwriting from previous stable version, using Windows 7 PRO SP1 x64 with MSE..

the only thing i noticed since update to beta 1.60 is my system is a bit slower a few seconds than before specially when opening explorer and browsing through my files. though not a big deal (i think 1-2secs. delay than before)

and also, it consumes more ram than previous.

note: I havent installing or change anything in my windows 7 since update to 1.60 beta

@nnoa110
We struggled a great deal with Japanese, more than with many other languages. Our GUI is written in VB, there are core VB display issues with certain languages, and Japanese is one of them. We may not be able to fix this. Re-encoding the language files in Unicode ensures the data itself is portable, i.e. that there is no ambiguity that the language file is intended to be Japanese, and no ambiguity about what *should be* displayed. The next step after that is to work out the issues with displaying the data itself, but unfortunately that is a separate problem.

Thanks for the information and It might be better to remove Japanese from MBAM since it does not work.

I will keep updating Japanese lng file in case you guys have found a solution in the future. :)

And one more thing, Do you plan to rewrite a GUI in the language other than VB?

@Swarnava
Use Unicode in Notepad -- as I said, this is UTF-16.

@nnoa110
Thanks for understanding. We do intend to migrate away from VB in the future.

Installed over previous version and so far no problems. The only thing is that when I run updates it says I have the latest database (v2011.12.20.06) so no updates in almost 17 hours?

Is there a corporate version for beta testing? I've downloaded this one and am using the trial, but would like to get a test of the corporate version so I can get an idea of what it can do in our environment.

Thanks

Chameleon :D
Well done!
Thanks, that's my personal favorite feature in this new version and a lot of time and hard work went into it on the part of our brilliant developers and staff to test it out and make it work :)!
Chameleon is really cool ;)
