Would this be normal, or is there something I might want to exclude (TEMP folders for the internet?)
Thanks for any advice you can give. Installation went perfectly over 1.46, just curious on the longer scan times and more items examined. Just wanted to know if it was only me.
Take it and run,

Please do the following to see if it helps:
Clear Temp Files Using ATF Cleaner:
- Please download ATF Cleaner by Atribune from here and save the file to your desktop.
- Close all open internet browser windows
- Run ATF Cleaner by double clicking it.
- Once the program opens, click the box next to Select All
- Note: this will delete all cookies saved by sites that you have visited so if you need to keep any cookies for automatic logins etc then uncheck the Cookies option

Thank you for the link and the program, I removed all but cookies as per your instructions (thank you for those, too!). The scan remains at about the same speed, nine and a half minutes or so.
It's not an issue, I was wondering if anyone else were seeing it was all. The longer scan is WELL worth the protection MalwareBytes offers.
I do appreciate the help. If it gets faster, that will be a bonus, but no worries.
Thanks!

That's a great program to keep around for deleting temp files too. Please let us know if there's anything else we can do to help, and thank you for choosing Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware to help keep your computer safe

Amended: After I rebooted a second time and cleared everything but cookies again, the scan was down to just under 8 minutes.
Thanks again, I really do appreciate it!
The PC is only about 9 months old, so it SHOULD be fairly okay, but again, not a deal-breaker for what the program does for me.
Take it and run,

Thanks. Did it! Updated to 1.50. One thing....never really understood 'Website Blocking' other than I see it blocks malicious sites....is this editable like a firewall...? I do not see in the gui where I can go to do it..or is it dependent on the database of Mbam? Wanted to ask that for a long time.

When I ran update, the database version was updated then version 1.50 was downloaded and installed.
After the program update I restarted MBAM and ran update again, the database version was again updated to a later version.
It would be nice if MBAM restarted after the program update is complete as I've seen in the past.
Thanks for your hard work and dedication.

That said, EULAlyzer only flagged one item of interest to me:
15. Malwarebytes reserves the right to designate specific additional content or features as requiring separate purchase of a separate subscription at any time and without notice to you, however, if you purchase a subscription that provides for specific updates, you will not pay any additional fee to receive those updates.
Can someone in Corporate (Marcin, ?) explain how that relates to, or affects, paid "individual" users with "lifetime" licenses?
I accepted the agreement (EULA) with no reservation but I *am* curious*..
Thank you in advance; I'll PM the link of this post to Marcin and am looking forward to his reply. Before I get beat up by anyone - I *love* MBAMPro 1.50 and use/have been using, the paid version since 1.43 or 1.44 when I became aware of the program.

Thanks Sam; I never thought of it in that context. And what you said makes sense; Thanks!
My mind is always going the other way; like if you guys came out with a version update that had "an additional feature" like, I dunno, it was suddenly able to reach out and smack the Malware writer across the chops, or similar, would #15 mean we'd have to pay extra to get that.. Or would it be part of the "Lifetime License?".. I know my example was silly, but I couldn't think fast enough to come up with a feasible addition. I wasn't just funning around to be an aggravation...
Thanks again,
~Steve
