This is on Windows 7 SP1 x64 Professional with MBAM PRO Beta V1.62.0.1100

In Programs and Features, there are five(5) new uninstall entries labeled CVE-2012-1889. Are these from new MBAM? If so, why are there 5?

No hitch with installation, scan ran quicker than usual. Just one point noticed, after the last update (30 mins ago) the checkmark was missing from Website Blocking

installed over 1.61 without any issues so far but the web-blocking module still has the same DPC latency issue:

That's quite normal. This occurs because the website blocking database is being refreshed/updated. It will re-check itself once the refresh completes, usually within a minute or two.

Installed over previous version, all settings carried over. First scan seemed a little slower than usual. no other issues or problems.

Install fine under admin id.

However the beta version only scanned

Objects scanned: 372484
Time elapsed: 28 minute(s), 3 second(s)

verus the previous version that I just scanned before installing the beta version

Objects scanned: 451601
Time elapsed: 36 minute(s), 28 second(s)

One other thing. I normally use a non-admin userid for my daily uses for security reason and doing so does not allow me to have the option to get the latest update of Malwarebytes unless I logoff and logon to Admin id. I think ALL users should be allow to get the latest update before running scans.

Also I like to know why other users have a faster running time than mine for I have a 128 GB SSD and AMD Phenom II X6 processor PC. Is it because that I have a checked box for "Enable advanced heuristics engine"and they don't ?

Thanks

The Pro version will update without any user being logged on. The free version though requires Admin rights.

You can probably do a runas to launch it with admin rights while under a limited user account to update it

You may need to have your system inspected to see what's going on with it. This topic isn't really for that but if you open a new topic in PC Help then myself or someone else can assist you in checking your system to see what's going on.

Cheers
