I have had the issue with freezing Windows(just like many other users) when having Malwarebytes installed since the last update in October :( . During this time i have been unable to use Malwarebytes and had it uninstalled.

However, since i installed the Malwarebytes 1.70 Beta and set the services to delayed startup it now finaly works perfect! :) I have now updated it several times and i have tested running complete scans and now also installed the Chameleon and tested it as well, and it has so far worked flawless.

It looks like the 1.70 Beta version has solved the issue of freezing windows, and my overall impression right now is that this version works perfect. I hope that it will continue to do so.Great work! :)

Excellent, I'm glad 1.70 is working well for you and thank you for letting us know :)!

One of the areas we've been working on a lot lately is compatibility. We continue to make strides to eliminate potential conflicts and it looks like in your case, the work we've done in 1.70 has paid off.

They are one and the same, so there's no need to upgrade :).
