Hi guys,

Every time Malwarebytes requires a reboot to delete some malware, I get flooded with Data Execution Prevention errors after the reboot, like this one:

Data Execution Prevention
To help protect your computer, Windows has closed this program.
Name: Userinit Logon Application
Publisher: Microsoft Corporation
etc.

The first few (3) times, I thought, s***, Malwarebytes found something really bad that infected my Windows system files and removing it must have corrupted them, so I happily reinstalled Windows and all my software.

Now it's happening to me again and damned if Malwarebytes has EVER been able to reboot my computer without messing up these system files, no matter what it's trying to remove!

I am starting to think my problems are being caused by Malwarebytes's code to remove files, and not malware at all.

I really don't want to re-pave my computer AGAIN. Suggestions?

Thanks!

Hello.

Please read and follow the instructions provided here: Pre- HJT Post Instructions
When ready please post your logs here: Malware Removal - HijackThis Logs

Someone will be happy to assist you further with cleaning your system.

During this scan and cleanup process you should not install any other software unless requested to do so.

Please don't post your log in this topic or start another thread in this forum, but post them in the Malware Removal - HijackThis Logs forum linked to above. ;)
