Weird MBAM update

Recommended Posts

Hi,

I was just about to shut down my pc for the night, and I updated MBAM.

The odd thing however is, the definition file went from version 8xxx to 911122006 which is really unusual.

I'm wondering whether this is just a typo, or if something else is going on?

This update has got me worried and I dont know whether I should shut down now..

Actually, I don't see it as correct. From what I see it is; YYYY.MM.DD.##

Where;

YYYY = Year

MM = Month

DD = Day

## = Update number for 24 hour period of day DD

I agree. If it is YYYY.MM.DD.##, and I got update version # 911122101. What is the 9 for ? if 11 is the year, 12 is the month, 21 is the day, and 01 is the update n°.

Uuuups !
