MBAM causes BSOD

Recommended Posts

Hello,

When i perform a full scan on my computer with MBAM (which i just purchased today), it crashes and I get the BSOD. The report tells me its BCCode 50, and the the Blue Screen says something about "acedrv09.sys." Ive uploaded the minidump here; let me know if you can access it.

Ive noticed this occurs when its scanning through the Windows files. Also, i followed the suggested actions in the FAQ on crashes, so i performed the full scan in safe mode and it did not crash. Does this mean i can only run MBAM in safe mode when performing full scans?

Thanks

It appears it's some sort of conflict with the driver by Protect-Software GmbH. You may wish to exclude the driver with Malwarebytes' ignore list. You can do so by clicking the Ignore tab and add file. The driver should be under C:\Windows\System32\Drivers for 32 bit systems or C:\Windows\SysWOW64\Drivers for 64 bit systems.:)
