I just got a new toy, Windows Vista. And I installed VB.NET which I am planning on picking up fairly fast. Is there any new program that you would like to see for Windows Vista, I can use a project idea.

Avoid VB, it's so limited. It's pretty easy to pick up on Turbo Delphi. :D

Did you buy your new toy or was it donated?

.NET does not allow for applications to be easily portable or allow you to run the applications on systems with no .NET Framework. I'd say that is quite crippled. That's why I go for Delphi or any other language where you are not relying on a dependency.

I bought it. And as for portability.. I will only use .NET for Vista and higher.. My other programs will still be VB6 =)
