I have a Eee PC netbook that I rarely use, today my Internet was not showing in its usual form so I checked the settings and deleted my temporary Internet files because my computer was also running slow. After doing this I then ran Malwarebytes which I wasn't aware I had it on my netbook, I had recently purchased the Malwarebytes Anti-Malware license only for our desktop. So, after running the quick scan it detected 20 infections so I proceded to delete the infections from the quarantine tab. After doing that it then said the computer needed to shut down so it could complete the threat removal, so I let it shut down. After it restarted a pop up came up read "Internet Security 2012," I knew not to click on anything so I tried to open my task manager to end that pop up and task manager would not launch. I then forced a shut down using power off button and it shut down, now when I turn the netbook on only a curser shows up for a split second on the left upper corner and dissapears without the startup screen coming on. So my screen is essentionally black. Appreciate any help given, I don't know what to do.

P.S. I read the procedure on steps to follow but since my screen is not showing anything I couldn't even start.

Sincerely,

C

Hi and welcome to Malwarebytes.

Please update MBAM, run a Quick Scan, and post its log.

Next, download DDS by sUBs and save it to your Desktop.

Double-click on the DDS icon and let the scan run. When it has run two logs will be produced, please post only DDS.txt directly into your reply.
