Scan taking way too long to run

The past few days my Malwarebytes pro version 1.60.1.1000 is taking from 6 hours to 8 hourds to scan my computer. Befre this it used to take about 3 hours to run a complete scan. Any thoughts as to why suddenly it is taking twice as long as before? I also use (less often) Vipre Rescue and it has always taken longer than MWB, but I think it does a deeper scan. Hope someone has a suggestion or an answer. Thanks!

Any time you add new programs or change things in your computer the Malwarebytes program will take longer to run. Depending on how often you run a full scan will also have an impact on how long it will take to complete. If you have not done so already it may be benificial in your scan times to add the Malwarebytes files to your anti-virus ignore list. You can find instructions on how to add the exclusions on this page under Section H.
