Cannot log in to report false positive

Greetings,

I just created an account in order to report a possble false positive, yet whenever I enter the support or false positive forum, the top left display of my forum name changes to "Sign in", which, when clicked, producs only a short blip of activity but otherwise has no consequences. What am I doing wrong?

If you can post here you should be able to post in false positive as well. You can also contact the help desk and they can assist you.

That's what I would have assumed, yet that's how it didn't play out.
