i have recently noticed that my system (7 x64) is running slow and is laggy sometimes and opening files like movies are with delay. so i started testing the machine with "windows performance toolkit" from Microsoft SDK and then eventually with "DPC latency checker" and started disabling my programs one by one to pinpoint the cause and it turns out the high latency is caused by MBAM Website Blocking.
here are the screenshots:

picture above is taken with website blocking disabled and the one below is when its enabled:

now, the website blocking is not a big deal to me if i had to keep it disabled since i really want the file protection but if i could find a way to solve this that would be great ;)

thanks

I also have this problem on Win 7 x64. It doesn't matter what media player I use (VLC, Winamp or Media Player Classic - Home Cinema) playing MP3 files from either my local hard disk or over the network becomes very 'buffery' whenever I do anything internet related. Turning off website protection fixes the issue.
