I have apc that appears to have an infection Chrome gives landingssavetube url & aw snap error. . I wanted to try Malwarebytes to attempt to solve this but from IE on that PC nothing will download. I can't run online tools from IE either as opening a new window does not open the target. I tried downloading on another pc malwarebytes, but it says it is the wrong version when I transfer it. Is there a way to download the version I need ?

I can't follow the tips on the stickies due to either or both of the download issues mentioned, please don't return me there !

See if you can download MB on a clean computer to a usb pen drive (just download the mbam-setup-1.61.0.1400.exe to the pen)

........also download the latest updates from here:

http://data.mbamupda.../mbam-rules.exe

Then plug the pen drive into the sick computer and install MB
Then run mbam-rules.exe to update it.
