Then download the latest definitions installer from here: gt500.org
Copy both installers to a flash drive or blank CD then copy them to the desktop of your home PC and install them. Install mbam-setup.exe first, then install the definitions and you'll be all set.
I hope I was helpful. Good luck and safe surfing.

ok thanks for the quick response. I can only find a reference to Malwarebytes using Vista in C:\Program Files\Malwarebytes\
Thats the only place it shows up and is the normal install location and files(languages etc). So far my search for rules.ref has come up with nothing, which is weird as i know i can update using the net connection on this PC and it shows the file version as updated. But finding the actual rules.ref to transfer to my isolated PC still hasn't worked. I'm logged in as Administrator and the install path i left as default(C:). I dont have a ProgramData folder on my Vista PC! And i've looked in all the folders like Public/name of Admin account etc. just to clarify, when i use the search function for rules.ref it doesnt find anything in relation to Malwarebytes.

C:\ProgramData\Malwarebytes\Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware
Note: You can ignore the warning that pops up. It isn't actually a website that is looking at local files, but in fact it was you pasting the address into the address bar that generated the warning. Just click 'allow'.
ProgramData is a hidden folder, and you will not see it unless you set Windows to show hidden files/folders.

Excellent - lol and so obvious! Ok i've found the folder and rules.ref file now, thanks very much to all who helped. I would just add i've been very impressed with malwarebytes, it found things my anti-virus hasn't been able to, so keep up the good work on this excellent software.

I guess Marcin stopped updating it. I'll see if he has some time to update it today.
Edit: I guess he already did it this morning... He's one step ahead of me.
