I was playing on a minecraft sever and the admin/owner got mad at me and long story short, one of their staff said that I will be syn scanned. He found where I lived and my open ports. Then the guy told me that I will recive tons of malware. I'm not sure what to do at this point. I installed Malwarebytes, updated it, ran it, and nothing popped up. So I'm just wondering if anything bad will happen.

Hello and welcome.
Do you have a firewall running? Are you behind a router? Are you running a Anti-Virus?
Did he find out your exact address or just a location? Example Philadelphia, PA.
If you ran a scan with Malwarebytes and it came up clean, he could just be bluffing to scare you, there are some people on the internet that try and act tough and make it sound like they know everything about computers and will try to intimidate you. Sounds like whoever this is had some nerd rage and is trying to scare you.

Yes my firewall is running, I have Avast running, and what do you mean if I'm behind a router? Like if I'm connected to it right now? And I think he found my exact location.

Yes, if you are connected to the internet through a router. Well unless he knows you in real life and knows where you live, I never heard of retrieving someones full exact address
via IP address. Now he could find your geographical location, like the city you live in or a city near you but I don't think he can get your exact address.
Unless he told you the exact address and you know for sure I wouldn't be worried. Since you are behind a firewall I think it would be safe to say your safe, unless he manages to get a trojan or some other type of program on your computer to connect out to his computer, which I doubt he will.
What firewall are you running? Also, is Avast! reporting on anything?

Yes he found the city I live in but I am currently connected on the internet by the ethernet cord. Avast hasn't reported anything and I'm running windows firewall.

He could of just did a reverse look up on your IP and can being using that little bit of information to scare you. You can look up a specific IP address online very easily and all the
information he will get is the City and who your Internet Service Provider is.
Sounds like to me that your probably connected directly to the internet. I recommend purchasing a router, if you don't need or use the wireless you can turn the wireless off and just use the router as a wall between you and the internet, it will help make your computer more secure.
As long as Windows Firewall doesn't have any open ports that you are aware of, you should be safe. If Avast! and Malwarebytes are both fully updated and saying your clean, odds are you are probably clean. Also check out this website (Link is below) to check to see if any ports are open, it will scan your computer and see which ports are Open, Closed, or Stealthed. Its perfectly safe as I used this before to test my firewall on my Laptop, and my routers Firewall.
https://www.grc.com/x/ne.dll?bh0bkyd2 Click on "Proceed", then click on "All Service Ports", it will take a few seconds to a few minutes then give you a detailed chart and let you know what ports are opened, closed, or stealthed.

I have a router but the cable box is closer so I use the cord so if I unplug the cord and turn on wireless will that work or can I can leave the cord in and the wireless on.
I got this from the text summary:
GRC Port Authority Report created on UTC: 2012-07-10 at 02:08:45
Results from scan of ports: 0-1055
0 Ports Open
0 Ports Closed
1056 Ports Stealth
---------------------
1056 Ports Tested
ALL PORTS tested were found to be: STEALTH.
TruStealth: FAILED - ALL tested ports were STEALTH,
- NO unsolicited packets were received,
- A PING REPLY (ICMP Echo) WAS RECEIVED.

Good, your ports are stealthed (It doesn't scan all your ports but it gives you a good idea). Your computer replied to the ICMP echo but thats nothing to really worry about, as some firewalls do reply to that, and if you were behind a router that would probably not happen. You have to plug the cord from the cable modem box to the internet port on your router in order to have internet access.
I personally, if I was you, I would connect the router. It acts as a barrier between you and the internet and I would turn off the wireless if you don't need it. But, yes if you connect to the internet via wireless, then you would be connected through the router and that would be a better option then to be directly connected to the internet. Be sure that your wireless is secured though.

I'm using my second laptop because my main laptop that I use can't connect to the internet now, probably because they did something to block my ports or something. What do I do now?

How won't it connect?
Are you connecting wired or wirelessly?
What version of Windows are you using?
I don't know if they can block your ports unless, they got into your system somehow and set up rules in Windows Firewall to block all outbound connections.

On Mozzila it says "The proxy sever is refusing connctions" and on Chrome it says "Unable to connect to proxy sever".
I tried wired and wirelessly and both won't work.
W7
And I looked up a video on youtube on syn attacks and i found one that stops internet connections or something like that. Also the internet was working when I restarted my computer but the action center said that my firewall was off so I turned it back on the internet stopped working.

To add to what David said, go to Start > Control Panel > Network and Internet > Internet Options and click the "Connections" Tab and go to "LAN settings" towards the bottom of the page and click it.
Under "Proxy server" Make sure "Use a proxy server for your LAN" is unchecked and "bypass proxy server for local addresses" is also unchecked. Then click OK then OK to close them out.

I am curious, are you using Avast! Anti-Virus only or, are you using the Avast! Internet Security Suite?

When your Firewall turns off does it stay turned off or does it turn itself back on?
Also, go to Control Panel > System and Security > Windows Firewall and click on "Turn windows firewall on or off" link on the left side of the window.
Make sure Windows Firewall is turned on for both "Home and Work (private connections)" and for "Public network location settings".
Also I would check the box under both network settings for "Block all incoming connections, including those in the list of allowed programs" then click OK and close any open windows and I would restart for good measure.
