How do you, or can you, log the results of scans that are set to run automatically? I have quick scan set to run auto at 5:00am. I came in this morning expecting to go to the 'logs' tab and see a log file with today's date on it. It's not there. How do I know a scan was performed?

I guess the question is 'where does one find the log file for mbam scan results that are run according to the schedule set up in mbam'. Not how to set up automated tasks in xp. Thanks.

The logs are stored in the Tasks folder. You can access them a couple of ways.

1. Click on START - RUN and type in notepad  c:\WINDOWS\Tasks\SchedLgU.Txt
2. Click Start, click Control Panel, and then double-click Scheduled Tasks. On the Advanced menu, click View Log

I double-clicked the Malwarebytes icon in 'Scheduled Tasks'.

In the 'Task' tab, I unchecked 'run only if logged on' since I want it to run when I am logged off. That I guess is why there was no log files for the weekend scans - because they didn't happen! I guess there is no way through the MBAM user interface to ensure that the scan is run when not logged on (or is there?).
Also, there wasn't any relevant information in the 'Advanced menu'-> 'View Log' data in Win XP. Not even for the scans that I ran manually and for which a log file was available through MBAM. Thanks.

Unfortunately (at least at the moment) you have to use Task Scheduler to change the parameters of scheduled scans and updates as there's no way through MBAM's interface (yet?).
