Ok the sun is shining again in Michigan! I renamed Combofix and got it to run. There was a Rootkit problem which was quarantined and deleted after reboot. I was then able to run Mbam successfully and it found the UACinit file that was also invoved. I am posting the 3 logs but I think I am in good shape. Why do I waste my money on McAfee if it doesnt protect my PC? Any other recommendations on preventing this from happening again?

Well it's difficult for sure. But on any given day Malware or Virus can sneak past any program before it's detected and new updates made to catch it.
The Avira has a pretty good reputation for staying on top of definitions and it's free if you do decide to change. But they too can miss things, no one is going to catch all of it every day it just changes too fast.
Download but do not yet run ComboFix
If you have a previous version of Combofix.exe, delete it and download a fresh copy.
Download it to your DESKTOP - it MUST run from the Desktop
download.bleepingcomputer.com/sUBs/ComboFix.exe
subs.geekstogo.com/ComboFix.exe
Using your mouse, Highlight and then Right-click | Copy the entire contents of the Code box below, including blank lines
Open a new Notepad session (Do not use a Word Processor or WordPad). Click "Format" and be certain that Word Wrap is not enabled. Right-click | Paste the Code box contents from above into Notepad. Click File, Save as..., and set the location to your Desktop, and enter (including quotation marks) as the filename: "CFscript.txt" .
Using your mouse, drag the new file CFscript.txt and drop it on the Combo-Fix.exe icon as shown:

Post back the Combofix log on your next reply.
Your version of Adobe Acrobat Reader is old and has exploited code. You need to remove it and update or change to another PDF reader.
Update available for vulnerability in versions 8.1 and earlier of Adobe Reader and Acrobat

Okay now that your system is running better let's do some other cleanup.
All versions of Java prior to 6 build 12 have one or more pieces of exploited code in them and you need to remove them.
Please go into the Control Panel, Add/Remove and for now remove ALL versions of JAVA
When we're done you can go back and install the latest version but for now please do not install any.
Then run this tool to help cleanup any left over Java
Your Java is out of date. Older versions have vulnerabilities that malware can use to infect your system.
Please download JavaRa and unzip it to your desktop.
***Please close any instances of Internet Explorer (or other web browser) before continuing!***
Then you can update to latest Java.
Download and Update Java Runtime
The most current version of Sun Java is: Java Runtime Environment (JRE) 6 Update 12.
The same goes for older Adobe Acrobat products.
Update available for vulnerability in versions 8.1 and earlier of Adobe Reader and Acrobat
Then let's remove any tools that might have been used either here or somewhere else while cleaning up the box.
Please run the following to remove any tools that might have been used during the scaning and cleaning of your system.
STEP 1
Uninstall ComboFix.exe
STEP 2
Uninstall GMER
Click on START - RUN and type in or copy/paste %windir%\gmer_uninstall.cmd to remove GMER.
STEP 3
Uninstall other tools
Please Download OTMoveIt3 by Old Timer and save it to your Desktop.
Great, all looks good now.
I'll close your post soon so that other don't post into it and leave you with this information and suggestions.
So how did I get infected in the first place?
At this time your system appears to be clean. Nothing else in the logs indicates that you are still infected.
Now that you appear to be clean, please follow these simple steps in order to keep your computer clean and secure:
Disable and Enable System Restore-WINDOWS XP
This is a good time to clear your existing system restore points and establish a new clean restore point:
Turn off System Restore
