Ok this is the problem, my friend has a very old update definition number on his Malwarebytes installation ( he did not know he had to update it himself and has been using the original def's from when we installed it on his PC). Because of this he is not protected and cannot get on line to update correctly.
I have read that I can download the newer definitions to a USB stick but how do i go about installing them on his machine which is Win XP. My machine for doing the download is an Apple if that causes any further issues.
Any help please.
