Installed and running fine here on Win8 Pro 64, I notice the MBAMService is still more than double the amount of memory usage ( 97Mb ) compared to Win7 64.

Installed over the previous, no problems so far. :)

Minor issue:
The links on the More Tools tab open Internet Explorer, not the default browser (Maxthon in my case).

Hi, nice new look!!
But, when you said: "Malwarebytes Anti-Malware now shows Windows 8 START screen notifications", is it only for pro version, cause in start screen, i only see the icon of MBAM!??

Confirm this also with Maxthon but www.malwarebytes.org/ from the 'About tab' does open in the default browser.

Installed over the top with reboot, no issues, thanks.

And so? A lot of softwares use IE, even if it is not the default browser!!
It's not a problem!

Very nice!

One thing that I would very much like to see is the ability for it to run a flash scan after update without bringing up the rest of the UI. Currently, if I am playing a game and MBAM updates then the game gets minimized while the scan runs. Beyond the inconvenience of being suddenly kicked out of a game, some games don't handle being minimized gracefully.

I can confirm this on Windows 7 x64 (my default browser is Opera, but the links open in IE9).

As for the new interface, I like it. The new Notification Area icon is going to take some getting used to, but it looks OK.

The scan times seem longer to me, but other than that the Quick Scan ran without issue.
