I first installed the prg in the folder that *I* wanted on the drive *I* wanted. Rebooted the machine and Windows sez it can't find mbamgui.exe. Did a Windows search and that file is where it should be. Removed & deleted all files and did a new download and new install, letting the prg install the prg where IT wanted. Rebooted machine and got the same error message. Removed entire prg and files and rebooted machine. Get same message - windows cannot find that file. My machine will not reboot without stopping the boot procedure to tell me that it can't find that file.

I've used older versions than this 1.34 and many many times the program would choke and stop part way through. I tried this current version in hopes that that problem had been fixed. Guess I'll never find out.

At this point, all I want to do is be able to run my computer without that "can't find..." error message. I use 3 other virus programs, but only one, NOD32, runs realtime. They all find stuff from time to time and clean things up for me. My IE browser runs very slow sometimes, after I've been using it for awhile, making me reboot for a fresh start, so there's always an outside chance that I have a virus.

What should I do? I really appreciate someone taking a minute to help me. Thank you very much.
