Hello,

Recently, after the routine overnight scan, I've occasionally seen that Malwarebytes has detected, and supposedly removed 8 potential threats. It happened again last night, and I've been trying to find additional information. It's something called pup.software.updater.

I say supposedly removed, because I just ran a quick scan again, and it found the same 8 potential threats again. Seems that Malwarebytes either thinks it's not malicious, or is unable to remove it.......logs show "no action taken".

I can't find much online, or on the forum, so I thought I'd post a topic and see if anyone knew what it was, and if I needed to be concerned.

Here is a copy of the scan results....suspected issue is highlighted in red.

Thank you....

:welcome: I am TheDarkKnight and will be assisting you. Please ask questions if anything is unclear. :)

You need to tell MBAM to delete the entries it finds.

Please run a fresh scan. When it finishes tick the box that says Remove Selected. Provide the log in your reply.
