Hello. There is this program in my Add/Remove that is named: Windows Safety Alert. If you try to remove it by pressing Remove, it will redownload trojans that I had. I tried to remove it and it redownloaded "SpyLocked" (good thing Rubber Ducky taught me how to remove SpyLocked). The worst thing is that its a pretty new spyware and that I'm using Windows ME (which cannot run a lot of Spyware Removers). I've tried Spybot, but it found nothing. Does anyone know how to remove this? Thanks!!!

Please open Hijack This. Select the 'Config..' button. Press the 'Misc Tools' tab. Press 'Open uninstall manager'. Select the item from the list. Can you please copy the Uninstall command and post it here.

Then press delete this entry. I will tell you which files to delete as well.

Hi, thanks for the reply.

The uninstall command is C:\WINDOWS\TEMP\LAFF151.TMP /del

I deleted it by using HJT. What do I do next? Thanks.

Please download CCleaner from here:
http://www.ccleaner.com
Install and run it, and clean out your Temporary and Temporary Internet Files (as well as anything else you may want to clean out.)

I'm having the same problem. I followed the steps you gave the previous poster. My delete command was:

IZAB~1\LOCALS~1\Temp\laf312.tmp /del

Any advice for me?

Thanks!!!
