I may be the only one, but not having a progress bar or a display of detected items during the scan really bugs me. If you can, i would really like to see those features added.

While virtually impossible to implement an accurate progress bar (I've never seen ANY application which had one that was anywhere near accurate), we do plan to implement one in some form in a future release, though I don't know when.
