I just successfully installed Anti-Malware in Safe Mode, and was wondering if anyone can tell me why this program can be installed in Safe Mode whereas a program like Symantec Endpoint Protection cannot? I was under the impression that no installer services were available in Safe Mode. I am using Windows XP Professional.

The reason is because it doesn't use the built in Windows Installer service, and instead uses it's own setup program called InnoSetup.
