About a month ago I had a run in with some trojans, but everything appeared to be cleared up within short order after running MBAM, Spybot, and Symantec. A while later they popped up again and were caught by Symantec AntiVirus, and I thought that was the last of it. However, things are weird again.

My internet explorer can't display any page I ask it to, MBAM won't update ("Update failed. Make sure you are connected to the internet and your firewall is set to allow MBAM access to the internet"), and I just noticed today that my wireless has been turned off and can't be turned back on.

I'm just hoping that there is another reason for this besides malware, but just in case, here are some logs. (I don't know if there's any connection, but I included the general timeline of trojans MBAM found.)

Hi,

First of all, restore your Internet connection again. In your case, it's because a proxyserver was set, so In case you lost internet access after performing above instructions:

In IE: Tools Menu -> Internet Options -> Connections Tab ->Lan Settings > uncheck "use a proxy server" or reconfigure the Proxy server again in case you have set it previously.
In Firefox in Tools Menu -> Options... -> Advanced Tab -> Network Tab -> "Settings" under Connection.

Then, redownload Mbam again because it has been updated.

Double Click mbam-setup.exe to install the application.

• Make sure a checkmark is placed next to Update Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware and Launch Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware, then click Finish.
  
• If an update is found, it will download and install the latest version.
  
• In case you already used MBAM previously, please update it before proceeding with the scan. To do this, click the "Update" tab and click the "Check For updates" button.
  
• Once the program has loaded and updates were downloaded, select "Perform Quick Scan", then click Scan.
  
• The scan may take some time to finish,so please be patient.
  
• When the scan is complete, click OK, then Show Results to view the results.
  
• Make sure that everything is checked, and click Remove Selected.
  
• When disinfection is completed, a log will open in Notepad and you may be prompted to Restart.(See Extra Note)
  
• The log is automatically saved by MBAM and can be viewed by clicking the Logs tab in MBAM.
  
• Copy&Paste the entire report in your next reply along with a fresh HijackThis log.
