[sstasik]

I am having the same trouble with the "Windows Safety Alert" as the prior poster. I've followed the steps given in that thtread, and the delete command I was given when I ran Hijack This was: IZAB~1\LOCALS~1\Temp\laf312.tmp /del

I followed the steps listed, ran Ccleaner and rebooted, but the icon is still popping up in the start up tray. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Please do this.
Download 'Hijack This!' 2.0.0.0. http://www.trendsecure.com/portal/en-US/th...JackThis_v2.exe
Save it in a convenient permanent folder such as C:\HJT\, double click HijackThis.exe, and hit "Do a system scan and save a logfile".

When the Notepad window opens, do Ctrl-A to Select All, and copy its contents here. Most of what it lists will be harmless or even essential, don't fix anything yet.

I will evaluate it and let you know what to do.

Please download RogueRemover from http://www.malwarebytes.org/rogueremover.php. Install and run the program. It will notify you that it needs to update. Run a scan after all updates are complete. Remove all objects found. Please post a new HijackThis log when you are done.

My first suggestion would be that you remove StopZilla from your computer. This program is not a very good antispyware application.

Next, Please download, install, and update AVG Anti-Spyware (http://www.ewido.net/en/download/)
Load AVG Anti-Spyware and then click the "Update" tab at the top. Under Manual Update click Start update.
After the update finishes (the status bar at the bottom will display "Update successful")

Click on the "Scanner" tab at the top and then click on "Complete System Scan".

• AVG Anti-Spyware will list any infections found on the left hand side. When the scan has finished, it will automatically set the recommended action. Click the Apply all actions button. AVG Anti-Spyware will display "All actions have been applied" on the right hand side.
  
• Click on Save Report, then Save Report As. This will create a text file. Make sure you save this file where you can find this it again (like on the Desktop).

Restart your computer and post the contents of the AVG Anti-Spyware text report that you saved and a fresh hijackthis log.
