Hi,

Got hold of a nasty trojan, but actually, I believe I had a few all along - been running Spybot Search and Destroy and the Malware Bytes Antimalware Software, and usually it runs fine and deletes unwanted programs, but now some services keep on crashing, I can only start up the machine in safe mode, and usually after 15 mins. it tells me that some core service is crashing and the machine needs to shut down. For the same reason, it is difficult for me to run a complete scan, but I am posting as much as possible here, and hope that you have the time to help me.

Just before, AntiMalware found 68 peices of Malware, but froze and rebooted during removal. The logfile doesnt mention them, unfortunately.

I can not seem to run HiJackThis, the program simply doesnt start... hmmm... anyway I can provide you with additional information that may lead to cleansing of my system?

Hi guys,

Sorry, i can see that the log file posted about is obsolete, and only scanned for 5 seconds. Apparently, the logs arent written if the removal aint successful, so I've got nothing to show. Uh.

Wish I could be more organized, but i guess i am fretting :)

Guys,

This thread is ending here, and I am starting a new one. I just kept on rebooting and starting in safemode, running antimalware everytime, and after 5 or 6 reboots it finally came through and removed so much that I could produce an actual logfile and run hijack this. I am posting both in a new thread to stop confusing anyone, an dwill include this as part of the new thread, so people who are experiencing the same thing can maybe see how I got around it to actually preoduce logs.

Thanks,
Fab
