I'm really struggling here... Have the Antivirus 2009 virus, and have tried everything I know. Installed and unstalled Malwarebytes several times, from downloads, flashdrives, renames... tried Combofix, in regular mode, safe mode... just not fixing it. the AV09 is now planted on the bottom right of the task bar, looking like a McAfee message, very tricky.

this is a log file (4) runs before it when it picked stuff up and deleted it, but even after the (4) more runs, no change in the behavior of the system, in fact the virus is probably worse

Hi,

First of all, please update MalwareBytes, because the databaseversion is outdated.

• Start MalwareBytes and click the Update tab. There click "Check for updates"
  
• In case you can't update the database via the update option, please download and install the database from here. Only do this when the update option doesn't work.
  
• Once the updates are downloaded, perform a full scan again.
  
• The scan may take some time to finish,so please be patient.
  
• When the scan is complete, click OK, then Show Results to view the results.
  
• Make sure that everything is checked, and click Remove Selected.
  
• When disinfection is completed, a log will open in Notepad and you may be prompted to Restart.(See Extra Note)
  
• The log is automatically saved by MBAM and can be viewed by clicking the Logs tab in MBAM.
  
• Copy&Paste the entire report in your next reply along with a fresh HijackThis log, then we'll proceed from there with new steps.

Extra Note:
If MBAM encounters a file that is difficult to remove,you will be presented with 1 of 2 prompts,click OK to either and let MBAM proceed with the disinfection process,if asked to restart the computer,please do so immediatly.

OK- I Finally got to this. did exacty as you specified here. The version updated, and ran. Found (1) new item and removed it.
I removed, restarted, and ran a full scan again- same old thing going on. Pasted below are the two MBAM data files and Hijack this files - I also attached a screenshot in a Word file of what it looks like while I run a scan (this Antivirus 2009 virus opens 40-80 occurances in the 2-3 hours that MBAM runs).

First of all, please update MalwareBytes, because the databaseversion is outdated.

• Start MalwareBytes and click the Update tab. There click "Check for updates"
  
• In case you can't update the database via the update option, please download and install the database from here. Only do this when the update option doesn't work.
  
• Once the updates are downloaded, perform a full scan again.
  
• The scan may take some time to finish,so please be patient.
  
• When the scan is complete, click OK, then Show Results to view the results.
  
• Make sure that everything is checked, and click Remove Selected.
  
• When disinfection is completed, a log will open in Notepad and you may be prompted to Restart.(See Extra Note)
  
• The log is automatically saved by MBAM and can be viewed by clicking the Logs tab in MBAM.
  
• Copy&Paste the entire report in your next reply along with a fresh HijackThis log, then we'll proceed from there with new steps.

Extra Note:
If MBAM encounters a file that is difficult to remove,you will be presented with 1 of 2 prompts,click OK to either and let MBAM proceed with the disinfection process,if asked to restart the computer,please do so immediatly.

Post the log from ComboFix in your next reply.

Please make sure you disable ALL of your Antivirus/Antispyware/Firewall before running ComboFix..This because Security Software may see some components ComboFix uses (prep.com for example) as suspicious and blocks the tool, or even deletes it. Please visit HERE if you don't know how.
