[PHAZE]

Hi i have recently been infected with the firefox redirect virus. I have been trying to install malwarebytes but it wont run when install here is my log below. Can you please help me sort out this issue?

I have just reformated my pc so its running fast and some what clean. Only program this is infected is firefox with the redirect virus, and malewarebytes doesn't seem to like to run. I have rename the exe setup file and it sill wont run. I have also renamed all exe files in the program folder still wont run? The only reason i want to get malewarebytes running is because i have read on HERE that malewarebytes maybe the key to removing my firefox virus.

Just out of curiosity how you guys know what programs to correctly delete with hijackthis? Is there a trick to finding it because i would like to know how to fix this myself in the future

Potential Malware infection issues to review to get MBAM running

• MB won't run(Fix) - Total-Security (FakeAlert)

Then please run this and post back the logs.

Disable any script blocker if your Anti-Virus/Anti-Malware has it.
Once downloaded you can disconnect from the Internet and disable your Ant-Virus temporarily if needed.
Then double click dds.scr to run the tool.
When done, the DDS.txt will open.
Click Yes at the next prompt for Optional Scan.

When done, DDS will open two (2) logs:

• DDS.txt
  
• Attach.txt

• Save both reports to your desktop
  
• Please include the following logs in your next reply: DDS.txt and Attach.txt
