Without knowing that my husband updated our MB earlier this morning.
My husband had download the update 2013 / 77196.
When I attempted to do an update for MB, it did the same download and said "Your 2013 / 77196 was updated to 2013 / 77196."
Is it supposed to do this? Should we be concerned?

And when I tried to reboot, I couldn't. It kept stating Windows Closing. I finally had to hold down the power button (on our Vista notebook). I restarted my notebook again regularly.

Download and run the program available at this link. That will collect some information, and send it to the guys who maintain the servers. It tells them that there is a problem, and gives them the information needed to start fixing it.
