I am looking for a good free firewall for windows vista premium. The only one i could find so far is from pc tools and it did get good users reviews.

I would definetely have to suggest ZoneAlarm from CheckPoint software. I think it is www.zonealarm.com if I am not mistaken.

It dose not look like there are any good free programs for vista yet on the list. I only 56 more days left of free updates from the norton internet security that came preinstalled on my new computer and do not want to stay with norton. I was looking at system sheild 3 internet security from iolo technologies. Is that the best one one the list?

If I were to rate them,

1. Eset [Eset makes very good products overall]
2. ZoneAlarm [It appears to be compatible]
3. Jetico [Also very high quality firewal]

In the end, it is all up to you. Usually firewalls learn the same way, it is your opinion as to what type of notifications you like to receive.
