Good day. I just installed Malwarebytes and the 1st scan it detected Hijack.System.Hidden. Category:Registry Data. Item:H_KEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Advanced\Folder\HiddenSHOWALL\CheckedValue-what does this mean and is this safe to delete? Thanks in advance.

Hello.

It's safe to "remove" it. MBAM doesn't actually 'remove' it but just sets that registry value back to it's default where it should be. Nothing major. I don't want to go into any details so you can safely allow MBAM fix it :)

If you want any additional information, let me know and I'll post you some links regarding that key. A quick google search can help you if needed. :P

OK, thank you very, very much. Now I go to tackle that prob with Malwarebytes. One last thing though, what actually did this intrusion mean and anything more I should do to fix it?

Hi Utopian,

I'm very sorry for the delay, Extremeboy has had connection problems.

It isn't an intrusion as such, it just affects the way hidden folders are able to be viewed.
You don't need to do anything else.
