Hi, I downloaded and Malwarebytes, updated and ran a scan. It found Trojan.BHO, I opted to remove it then I deleted it from Quarantine and emptied my recycle bin. From there, I downloaded and updated Avira Virus Scan, then ran a full system scan. It came back clean but I'm still noticing the same problems and I believe the virus or trojan is stilll present. Below is my HiJack This log - please review and advise what steps I need to take in order to completely remove it. Thanks

Hi,

Please post the log from MalwareBytes + tell me what exact problems you are having.

 Everyday when I get into the office, my laptop starts exhibiting traits of an attack....programs running slower, laptop making noises, screens slow to load and graphics blinking out as if I'm almost out of memory. Also, when accessing files, receiving error messages like "unable to locate file" even though the file is there. I run Malwarebytes, it finds "BHO.TROJAN," and I opt to remove it. Once removed, I go to the QUARANTINED folder and delete it from their. I then run an update to Avira and do a scan. Everything comes back clean. Sometime during the day, it starts acting up all over again.

If I remove it while I'm at home, I have no problems when I'm connected....it only happens when I come back to work.

On a side note, not sure if it was user error related or if a potential attack happened, but last week my boss noticed some files from our server missing. We had backup, so we've restored them but it was strange and unusual...we've been in business over a year and that has never happened.

Please help.

Hi,

So this mainly happens at work? When you're connected at home, there are no problems?
In anyway, this isnt a malware related issue here. It looks like there are problems with the Internet connection at work, which may cause these issues as well.

BTW, the fact that you have multiple Antivirus present won't certainly help - on the contrary, it causes extra hiccups.
So you should, or uninstall Norton, or Uninstall Avira. You can't have both.

In anyway, there's are some really old registry leftovers and unnecessary startups present here, so let's fix them with HijackThis..

But first, I see you are running Teatimer.
I suggest you to disable it because it can interfere with the changes you'll make on your system.
When everything is done and your log is clean again, you can enable it again.
If teatimer gives you a warning afterwards that some changes were made, allow this instead of blocking it.
How to disable TeaTimer <== click me for instructions.

After you disabled Teatimer, download ResetTeaTimer.exe to your desktop.
Then run ResetTeaTimer.exe.
This will only take a few seconds.

Then,
* Start HijackThis, close all open windows leaving only HijackThis running. Place a check against each of the following:
