Hello-

I am trying to recover from DNSchanger with the help of an online friend after both trend and microsoft techs couldn't help me. Over the past 2 weeks, he had me run mbam, sas, AVG, Combo Fix, Vundo Fix, Kaspersky Virus removal tool, ATF cleaner, Fsecure Blacklight, tried Bit Defender and the scan failed, tried Dr. Web CureIt but it caused the BSOD (even in safe mode). Before it crashed, it found archives (like 3 or 4) in Easy Link that were infected with DNSchanger and needed to wait for my permission to "move" them before it continued scanning. I gave it permission a couple of times only to have it crash with this error message:

Anyway, Rooter.exe found Navipromo, WebMediaPlayer, TDSS, (in the blue scan box) and then it started firing off QGREP error messages. I ran Navilog1 and experienced the same exact error messages:

Both programs finished scanning despite the dozen, or so, errors that I cancelled out while each was running. I do have those logs also, if you want them.

What do I do if Combofix is already on my desktop?
