Hi,

I need some information regarding the mbam_test.exe from Kelly-Bones for mbam officials.
I have the file in my possession. It reports no virus on Jotti, Virus Total and Comodo Instant Malware Analysis. When I run the file in a Sandbox, the executable tries to phone home and the application pauses. Kelly-Bones has somewhat spammed the board and all the MBAM reviews with this test. Of course, it is suspicious when a test needs to phone home to starts. It is not a FW leak test.

The file has been removed, but I found no explanation about its content on the board. Prevention has always less value than information. If I have missed the mbam thread regarding this test, direct me to the link. If there are none, can you give me some detail about this file, mode of infection, processes, etc.

Thanks in advance.

Q1. How can I modify a post?
Q2. How can I delete a post (like this thread)?

Thanks

We deleted the users' files because they were considered unknown, but not malicious. We are not going to add every single little threat tester that people provide and hence ignored his or her request.

Hi RubbeR DuckY

I found the thread in question, but thank you for the feedback anyway.
For my information: why a new user can't modify or delete his posts on your forum. Is there a rank system of some sort to access some privileges (delete/modify)?

Thanks

There is, but I do not remember the specific post count you must achieve to be able to edit posts.

As for deleting, I would believe that only moderators and admins can do that. If you need one of your posts deleted, then feel free to send one of us a message.

Not yet. Some day I'll save up for a classic GT500KR, but I just don't have the money right now. Or anywhere to put it...

Sounds like a good plan.

You need to have 50 posts before you're allowed to edit your own posts. This was put in place due to some users abusing the edit feature.

I would have settled for a lower number (since probably most users have good intention and - I speak for myself - often needs to correct spelling mistakes or sentence meaning), but that's fair enough. Thanks for the info.
