Hi, i got a virus this afternoon. i've tried to install mbam, which won't finish its install (it hangs up at around 99%). i have the mbam icon on my desktop so perhaps it is installed, but it won't open. i tried installing hijackthis, and i can't get it to even open the installer now. after 15-20 minutes i got an error saying google installer failed. i can't open firefox at all, and if i do google searches on internet explorer, all of the links open a pop up window with ads. i've searched with avg and ad-aware, and nothing comes up. i tried to do a system restore to 4am this morning, but when i click the 'next' button to initiate it, it hangs and won't restore to a different point. can anyone help?
