want to install IE 7, amd advised by first temporarily disable all anti-virus and anti-malware --
How do I temporarily disable Malwarebyte? THX

The protection module is not available if you have not purchased a license, so there is no real-time protection to disable. You can install IE7 without making any changes, but you may want to consider upgrading to Internet Explorer 8.
