Can you please provide help on how to stop the Windows Geniune Advantage Notifications Installation Wizard pop-up from appearing when I log in to Windows. I am not interested in installing this software but do not know how to get rid of it or stop it from appearing everytime I log into Windows.

I've attached a screenshot of the pop-up.

Thanks in advance for your help.

It's because Microsoft has already installed a portion of it and they want you to finish the install.

This is NOT Malware and as such we don't target it for removal or really provide assistance for that type of information. You can use Google/Yahoo/etc though and search for that information as there are many sites that are dedicated to stopping and preventing the WGA from running or installing.

Hmm, i once downloaded a cracked version the guy who fixed my computer emailed me. it was called WGA Cracked and had a red man thing on it. I don't download cracked things or hack, but it also makes your computer faster because WGA is turned off.

You could also simply visit Windows Update and check for updates, install them, reboot if necessary and be done with it. WGA will be installed at that point and you won't have to deal with the popup any more :P .

I would finish the install. In fact, it may be necessary to do so in order to receive important operating system updates from Microsoft. I would not foresee this being a problem installing WGA unless you know you have a non-legitimate copy of Windows.

good luck
