Windows XP SP3
AVG 8.5

I recently tried to update malwarebytes but it was updating so slowly that I had to cancel it. Afterwards when I open it, it gives the this error "Can't find database". So I close it then when I open it again it says to download from malwarebytes an updated database? so I click yes but nothings happening so I click no and I get Error 716(2,0). What happened?

Greetings :P .

It's possible the database simply got corrupted when you tried to download it and that caused the issue. Please try downloading the standalone database installer from GT500.org and run it after exiting Malwarebytes' . Then run Malwarebytes' again and try to update it normally to see if it works.

It's OK now, I just let it update, but it was so slow, took about 30 mins. I don't know if this is just normal that updating malwarebytes can sometimes take this long?

That isn't normal, at least in my experience. Let us know if it occurs again.
