Please run the Combofix and post back it's log. I'll get back with you tomorrow on this. There is at least 1 maybe 2 drivers that are Malware and should not be running on the system.
Check for updates for these programs as they've been exploited
Adobe Acrobat 7.0 Professional
Adobe Acrobat 7.1.0 Professional
Recommend removal and update to 9.1.1
Adobe Reader 8.1.5
Peer2Peer software can infect the computer faster than we can clean it. Recommend removal till we're done.
BitTorrent 4.0.3
These versions of Java are exploited and MUST be removed.
The Update 13 is good but removing all the others and clean up will make it not work right so remove it too and then later on we'll put it back in.
J2SE Runtime Environment 5.0 Update 10
J2SE Runtime Environment 5.0 Update 11
J2SE Runtime Environment 5.0 Update 4
J2SE Runtime Environment 5.0 Update 6

Please go into the Control Panel, Add/Remove and for now remove ALL versions of JAVA
Then run this tool to help cleanup any left over Java
Your Java is out of date. Older versions have vulnerabilities that malware can use to infect your system.
Please download JavaRa and unzip it to your desktop.
***Please close any instances of Internet Explorer (or other web browser) before continuing!***
Make sure this is the latest version as well
Macromedia Shockwave Player
Check for updates for these programs as they've been exploited
Adobe Acrobat 7.0 Professional
Adobe Acrobat 7.1.0 Professional
Recommend removal and update to 9.1.1
Adobe Reader 8.1.5
Peer2Peer software can infect the computer faster than we can clean it. Recommend removal till we're done.
BitTorrent 4.0.3
These versions of Java are exploited and MUST be removed.
The Update 13 is good but removing all the others and clean up will make it not work right so remove it too and then later on we'll put it back in.

JavaRa log now attached.
I had no idea all those java files were on my PC. Can you normally delete the old one when a java update is saved?

Ron I have a problem. I printed out and followed your most recent instructions (as I've done each time) and I used a program called Smart Close to shut all my running programs down, including my AV, BitDefender.
When I dragged the CFscript file onto the Combofix icon a window opened that said that BitDefender was still running and that I should close it down before clicking OK otherwise it could damage my system.
According to Windows Task Manager Bit Defender is not running so what do I do? I'm sending this from another computer while my infected PC is isolated from the internet and my home network.

Click on START - RUN and type in SERVICES.MSC and hit OK
Then look for the BitDefender services and make sure they're all STOPPED
Then run the script.
I'm leaving and not sure when I'll be on next as this is long 3 day weekend.
Good luck and will try to check back as soon as I can.

I hope you're still there. No they aren't all stopped! but the stop button is greyed out.
Can I close down the current combofix session until you are back and if so how?

I'm part way through having my problem solved and have a warning message from Combofix that my AV program is still active even though I closed it (and everything else) with Smart Close. Windows Task Manager shows it isn't running, but under Services in Admin Tools it shows as "started" but the stop button is greyed out.
My helper is now unavailable for the next three days and I'm stuck with Combofix telling me if I go ahead it could damage my computer unless I close my AV program - which I'm unable to do, but it gives me no option to cancel the session.
How can I abort the combofix session? I don't want to leave my PC running for the next three days with just this warning message showing.

Disconnect from the Internet. Set all the BitDefender services to DISABLED then restart the computer and make sure they're still STOPPED and DISABLED.
Then if they are run the Combofix Script and hopefully this is not one of the ones that renames itself on every reboot. If so then CF will miss it.

I'm already disconnected from the net as per the previous instructions, but I can't open BitDefender to close it down again, and as I said earlier, the stop button is greyed out in the Services list. I'm stuck here with Combofix started but waiting for me to tell it I've disabled BD when its impossible for me to do that because I can't access it, and the Combofix warning message only has an OK button, not a back-out option. It does have the red "X" at the top but I didn't know if I could just close it without stuffing something up. With all my attempts to access and close BD there is now a grey BD icon in the task bar that says no bit defender services are running, but Admin Tools/Services still shows it as "started"

No, start the services and double click it. There is an option to set it to DISABLED, you can't stop it.
Then click the X or just shut down the PC and restart it after setting all the AV to disabled.
START - RUN - and type in SERVICES.MSC

OK - I disabled BD under the "log" tab is that correct? and then I clicked the "X" on the Combofix Warning - and it started running again. I didn't re-boot or re-drag the text icon onto the Combofix icon, it just started again by itself. Its currently working through the stages, so as soon as its finished I'll go back to my printed instructions and post the logs etc.
