Hello,
After working flawlessly for a few months Malewarebytes started freezing up during a full scan and has to be shut down with the task manager.
It does not lock up when doing a quick scan or if I run the scan in safe mode.
When I finish a scan, it always reports no infection and the computer runs fine.
It was stopping on a file: C:\program files\msecache\xlview_en-us\updates\xlviewsp1-en-us.msp
I read through the posts and found a recent one with the same problem and it was suggested that the poster should uninstall Malwarebytes and download it again from Cnet, so I tried that and it still stops on the same file.
I am running XP Pro on a Lenovo 3000 C200, 1.73GHz, 80 GB HDD, 2.49 GB of RAM.
Thank you for any suggestions.

Do you think I have an infection?
The computer runs fine and fast.
Avira reports no infections.
SuperAntiSpyware reports no infections.
Malwarebytes scans in safe mode or quick scan and reports no infections
I don't think I have a real infection, I think it has something to do with a Microsoft file that they downloaded.
The computer works real well now and I would hate to mess it up, I am not an expert and it would take me quite a while to follow the steps above.

The DDS is just a quick simple scanner. It will make NO changes to your system it will only create a log file for me to review and see if something could be influencing MBAM.
