But according to the latest update we have 94,803 'fingerprints' to detect malware, spyware adware with a few strings thrown in for viruses and worms.
Lets hope we don't get into the whole nonsense of viruses and worms being malicious and should be included and all that.

I was a bit confused in a cnet video when it said that malwarebytes doesn't detect viruses, just malware but when i looked on malwarebytes.org it defines viruses as malware also, so the review of malwarebytes on cnet.com was wrong.

Not sure because definitions cross boundary lines on both sides and it takes detailed analysis to determine and classify
