Recycler keeps coming back - I was hoping that Malwarebyts can help I have used the free version for a while now. This detection tool dose not seem to bother with this - I have followed the basic instructions. create a batch file - with the following commands and run on the root of the drive infected - worked on all usb sticks - but not on hard drives.

code = --------------------------------------------------------------------------

@Echo off

ATTRIB -S -A -H -R

Pause
= ----- Saved as remove .bat -------------- this dose allow me to delete the RECYCLER from the drives. I have set the recycle bin to delete all no save - My system restore is set to not restore. --- I have deleated all recycler from the register --- Next I have tried all log in ways on my win XP home - I am admin - and i am owner /Admin - but i can not get to the security over ride for deleting the system volume. This I believe is where it is coming back from over and over. - Also my computer makes this noise as I have clicked wrong or the error wav. will sound and when I look in the task manager there is rundll.exe - I have turned it off many times ( end process( or end process tree)) but to no avail. AVG has proved itself useless - many times it says clean and I find it with this product, so I uninstalled this and run Malwarebyts every day. If there is any news on this I would love a tip - If it is another product i need to try, and you can recommend in this forum thanks for that. If there is a better manual way to remove I am game for that also. thanks for a good product and saving my butt more then once - I will come back and read any replies there may be.

Scan and post logs - read note at bottom in green
If you're having Malware related issues with your computer that you're unable to resolve.
  • Please do not post any logs in the General forum. We do not work on any logs posted in the General forum.
  • Please do not install any software or use any removal/scanning tool except for those you're requested to run by the Helper that will assist you.
  • Using these other tools often makes the cleanup task more difficult and time consuming.
  • If you have already submitted for assistance at one of the other support sites on the Internet then you should not post a new log here, you should stay working with the Helper from that site until the issue is resolved.
  • Do not assume you're clean because you don't see something in the logs. Please wait until the person assisting you provides feedback.
  • There are often many others that require asistance as well, so please be patient. If no one has responded within 48 hours then please go ahead and post a request for review
  • NOTE: If for some reason you're unable to run some or any of the tools in the first link, then skip that step and move on to the next one. If you can't even run HijackThis, then just proceed and post a NEW topic as shown in the second link describing your issues and someone will assist you as soon as they can.
