well i get an error when i try and update malewarebytes, it says that i need to check in Internet connection and check that my fire has the ,program enabled, which it does. that's really the only error, i noticed that whatever is keeping me from updating malewarebytes it is also keeping me from steaming WMV files, DIVX files, internet explorer wont connect and i cant upload pics to photobucket or anything...

hey also thanks for giving me your time! Combofix cleaned my system its working great now, but if you see anything else in the logs then please still let me know i appreciate your help :)

Run HijackThis, and press "Do a System Scan Only".
1. When the scan is complete place a check mark next to the following entries:

R1 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet Settings,ProxyServer = http=localhost:7171
R1 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet Settings,ProxyOverride = *.local;<local>

2. After checking these items CLOSE ALL open windows EXCEPT HijackThis and click "Fix Checked." Then, reboot your computer...

Go to start ---> Run ---> Type ComboFix /u and press Enter. The following command will uninstall Combofix and create a fresh System Restore point.

Unfortunately, its not that simple. Using SystemRestore for that purpose doesn't always work. Your best bet is to let us deal with any malware problems you incur.
