I've read some of the guides here and they've been useful so far. I've managed to install MBAM and done a quick scan, it tells me I have 16 instances of malware that need removing. Problem is that every time I click the 'remove' button, it starts doing it and then promptly comes up with this: "Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience".
It's driving me mad because there doesn't seem to be a free alternative to MBAM, unless I am mistaken. Can someone point me to another program that will do the same job, or give me a tip to get MBAM to work properly?
