I installed the program on many machines, but his one laptop is giving me trouble. I installed it fine, but if i try to do a Quick Scan or a Full Scan, within 1 minute of running the software closes. No error message, nothing. Just closes. I found an old adware program and uninstalled it, restarted and tried again. Same thing.

Hi SUEBA13! and welcome to the forum! May I ask what AV software are you using? and/or Firewall?

We are using Trend Micro Worry Free for AV and the firewall is Untangle. These are both running on all machines and the install was not problem on all (workstations and notebooks) except this notebook, which is pretty clean.

Thank you for the advice. I couldnt do the steps above, since this is a client install on this notebook, so, instead of doing that I disabled the Trend temporarily. It is running through the scan now with no problems. I didn't suspect the Trend since it wasn't a problem on any other machine. So far the software is working great and I appreciated the quick response!

Your Welcome! We discovered that Trend needs to have some mbam files inside, & if its Internet Security Trend Micro? Then the firewall needs some mbam files also. save that thread. Please post back if there anything else we can do! regards ..
